During my daily commute to and from my office, I find myself weaving my way through three to four check posts. The police officers standing there performing their duties, under extreme weather conditions are mostly regarded by passers-by as a nuisance. We must all understand that these cops are only executing the orders given to them. In addition to all this, they are facing risk to their lives as one can see they are ill-equipped and ill-protected against any attack. This also confirms tremendous mental stress which is evident on their faces.
Above all this, the non-cooperative public makes their job even more difficult. It should be understood by everyone that they are putting their lives on risk because of us and we should keep this in mind before reaching any conclusion.
