Apropos to Mr Rahims’ letter published on December 5, 2010, I would endorse his view that ‘we shall never learn’. Because we have dishonest, corrupt politicians as our leaders and our law does not punish the corrupt and incompetent. Only the honest are punished and that will continue.
In mutual expediency, these corrupt leaders do not talk of recovering the plundered wealth. On the other hand, the ruling elites successfully keep us all busy in new issues. A word on new methods to obviate WikiLeaks: rulers damn care on its repercussions, as Mr Rahim pertinently remarked in his said letter, as long as we keep voting them to power. We must learn to reject them and media should launch an awareness campaign against them and expose their true face.
