The Hajj scam is an example that clearly represents the moral depravity the countrys bureaucracy and politicians have fallen into. They have made Hajj a business for them. It is no more a sacred duty for any of them. They are not facilitating other Muslims, rather fleecing them to keep their pockets warm. Such an attitude always leads to the destruction and disintegration of the societies.
Moreover, the allegations and blame game from the treasury bench is a scene to watch. It must feel good to the opposition while the impact was so catastrophic that the PM had to issue a gag order on the verbally warring ministers. If this is the level of competence of our politicians, we are doomed.
