The statement of the spy agencies that they do not come under any law of the land is really a news for the country. The CJ Iftikhar Chaudhry must have been astounded and baffled by the response. The inherent irony was that it was made before the pinnacle of law guardians in the country.
Just consider what would be the implications if they are given free hand to operate in the country as they are doing now. Who will bring them to justice? How unfortunate for the land of the pure!
