‘I do, or do I?’

In the above titled article by Shirin Sadeghi, published in the Pakistan Today on 25th of November 2010, the author uses gross generalizations and doesnt provide any facts or data supporting her claim that arranged marriages are on the wane in Pakistan or that most divorces these days involve couples who had “arrange marriage”.

She starts off with the example of Royal Family (the family that ruled us, 63 years ago). I, personally, am not a big fan of arranged marriages but the fact remains that most of the marriages in Pakistan today are arranged marriages.
