Changing political alliances

The politics in Pakistan is a strange play where no one knows who will play the leading roles and who would be cast in supporting roles. The PPP government has not long ago declared the same PML(Q) a Qatil League but they have stretched open their arms in anticipation of making them an ally in the federal coalition.

On the other hand, the PML(N) has issued the statement suggesting that it would not be a strong opposition party, just saying after a few weeks that it would be. Eating your own words is another trait common in our politicians. The relationship with MQM ANP is also not streamlined as the statements of their respective leaders suggests.

This drama of changing allegiances is nothing new in our history. The main culprit of this has always been the right wing party, PML though it is not limited to this party alone. The people of the country are wondering when will the leaders, such as they are, learn to grow up and be more serious towards the issues at hand rather than focusing on the issues that concern with their pockets only.
