This is in response to the article of Waqqas Mir published in this newspaper on November 22. The writer is quite right when he says that the blasphemy laws must be reviewed and brought to the needs of the modern welfare pluralistic society rather than expressing the will of a certain xenophobic section of the society. Moreover, these l;aws must be applied to every religion, including Islam.
