Central or not?

Will the prime minister tell the nation what so many ministers are doing in the Centre? What have been their contributions in terms of achievement (value for the money) spent on them? After the NFC award has been awarded and provincial autonomy has been delegated, what is the need of these excess ministries and ministers? These must be disbanded immediately to save billions of rupees paid through the stomach crunching taxes coerced from the common man. The security expense on President House, prime minister, ministers must be either paid from the salaries of these office holders or they must live in their own houses. If these office holders are not safe in public, it just goes to prove their abject unpopularity. The more the corrupt, dishonest, unjust the rulers, the more the insecure they are and deserve to be held accounatble.

It is worth mentioning that the Federal Ministers, PM and President have acquired the habit of passing the buck of failures on to the provincial governments as their functional domain. It surely suggests that there are surplus functions at the centre and only functional desks are required to coordinate national activities on provincial levels to save hundred of billions rupees in corruption and national expense. The government does indeed need to rethink the centre-province configuration in an attempt to not only improve governance but also to redress genuine grievances in some of the smaller provinces.
