Banned militant outfits

The LeT was banned, following the peace process with India that began in 2004. This organization has been involved in fighting alongside Kashmiri Mujahideens in the Indian Occupied Kahsmir.

Although, a number of circles blame this group as an important proxy of Pakistan, but its role has changed since the inception of the peace process. Upon Indias request, this organization was banned and since then a lot of evidence is pointing towards their involvement with Al-Qaeda, especially against Pakistan. This organization has been involved in spreading hate against minority groups, by publishing newspapers, magazines, books and of course by undertaking militant activities.

It is high time that the authorities must take serious notice of all the militant organizations, especially those involved in hate speech against the state and innocent civilians. Pakistan Army is already fighting to control militancy in the region and these organizations try to undermine its efforts.
