Minister of State for Interior, Tasneem Qureshi said that a consensus between all the political groups is needed to tackle the problem of terrorism in the country. He gave these remarks while winding up a debate on the law and order situation in Senate. Other members also gave their inputs and apparently all of them agreed that this problem should be tackled on priority basis, especially the worsening situation in Karachi and Baluchistan should be dealt with immediately.

Terrorism has destroyed the very fabric of our society and everyone is living in a state of constant fear. Inter-party harmony is needed more than ever, especially considering the situation in Karachi. Our economic revival solely depends on the solution of this problem.
