Five F-16s arriving today

ISLAMABAD: The second consignment of five US F-16 fighter jets will arrive in the country today (Saturday).
Online sources said that the five fighter jets would land at the Shahbaz Airbase in Jacobabad. They said that the fighter jets were to arrive in Pakistan in September, but their arrival was delayed by the massive flashfloods.
The US has agreed to provide Pakistan 18 F-16 fighter jets by the end of this year. Of these, three have already reached the country, five will arrive today and the remaining 10 will be handed over to Pakistan by the end of December.
The jets would be kept at Shahbaz Air base in newly-built hangars. PAF pilot have received special training from the US to operate the planes.
