The foreign minister has said that Pakistan will not expand the terror fight and start the operation in Waziristan till Pakistan itself wants to. Its nice to see the policy makers in Islamabad grow a backbone. But it just might be a ploy to pressurise the US into giving us more aid. After all, when have we refused the US anything. Since the war has started, we have been compromising not only capital resources but human resources to participate in this war. And not to mention the small thing called our sovereignty. We should not be the concessioning party in these negotiations. But I guess our unequal status is of our own making.
