In separate incidents, two were crushed by trucks on the Ferozpur Road while attempting to cross the road on Wednesday. Two were also found dead, as a drug overdose case, from Qila Gujjar Singh and Shahdara Police precincts.

A truck in Nishter Colony Police precincts crushed a woman namely Khursheed Bibi, a resident of kotlakhpat area, as she was trying to cross the Ferozepure Road.The woman sustained critical injuries while the truck driver escaped. She was rushed to the General Hospital by Rescue 1122 where she died. Police, after due legalities, have handed the body to the deceased family.
A similar accident took place when a truck crushed a 40-year-old man on the Ferozpur Road. The police said that the unidentified man was trying to cross the road. The driver escaped leaving the man critically injured, who later died on the spot. The Police have shifted the deceased’s body to the morgue and have started to search for his family.

Two unidentified dead were found from two different areas of the city on Wednesday. Dead body of a 40-year-old man was found from Qila Gujjar Singh Police precincts while another body of a 55-year-old man was found from Shahdara Police Station precincts. The Police have shifted the bodies to the morgue and have started to search for their relatives. According to the police, both died of drug overdose.
