I wonder when Pakistan cricket will be free of this scourge of mismanagement (an understatement, by all means). The PCB is in tatters. It has always been in tatters but the fact that now due to its high jinks, Pakistani cricket is in bad shape is unforgivable. Bad administration did not always result in bad cricket but now that is the case. There have been moments in the current administrations reign, when any self-respecting man would have resigned instantly. But, Butt Sahib lacks that in addition to the ability to run a cricket board and a cricket team. Now his personal issues with Younus Khan have led to him choosing Misbah-ul-Haq as the Test captain of Pakistan. He chose a man on the brink of requirement with very little experience over Younus Khan, by all means the better choice. There is no end to the frustration that the PCB is causing a cricket fan in Pakistan. If they want to torture us to death, they should at least have the courtesy to make it quick.
