Youth Affairs Dept to start career counselling project
KARACHI - A career counselling project worth Rs 15 million for youths is being initiated, said Sindh Youths Affairs Minister Faisal Ali Subzwari on Tuesday. He was presiding over a meeting held in his office.

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Monday urged Muslim scholars to play their role in bringing back on path those deviated from the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). LAHORE - Gujranwala won the final of the Inter Divisional Youth U-14 Wrestling Championship held at Sheranwala Bagh, Gujranwala. Gujranwala got the first position with 65 points. Lahore were declared second having 40 points and Multan achieved third position with 30 points.

National Jr, Youth Weightlifting from 15th
LAHORE: The National Junior, Sub Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championships will be held from February 15 to 17 at Punjab University Ground Weightlifting Centre near Choubarji here. More than 160 young and promising weightlifters from all over Pakistan will participate in these championships. Players born in 1991 or later will be able to participate in junior section competitions and the players born in 1994 or later will participate in sub junior event and the players born in 1996

Youth crushed to death
HAFIZABAD - A speedy coaster crushed a 20-year-old motorcyclist to death. Reportedly, Abdul Rehman, a resident of village Nali Mohil, was on its way to Hafizabad from his village on motorcycle. When he reached the bank of a drain, a coaster coming from the opposite direction crushed and injured him severely.
