CAA orders inquiry against flight inspector working for two employers

KARACHI - The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has ordered an official inquiry into the conduct of its Flight Inspector Capt Shafqat Mehmood for violating the CAA Rules by operating scheduled flights of Airblue as a line pilot.
Mehmood is charged with deliberately violating CAA Rules for monetary gains from Airblue Ltd, liable for a penal sentence under Rule 333 of the CAA Rules 1994.

IHC starts working without judges today

ISLAMABAD: The re-established Islamabad High Court (IHC) will start partial functioning today (Monday) by beginning admitting cases, a senior official of the Law Ministry told Pakistan Today on Sunday.
