PPAF starts work on school in dirt-poor slum
KARACHI: The Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) held the stone-laying ceremony of an educational facility in the impoverished hamlet of Goth Noor Muhammad, located on the outskirts of Karachi, on Tuesday.
The ceremony was performed by PPAF Chairman Hussain Dawood and the fund's outgoing CEO/MD Kamal Hyat, in-coming CEO/MD Qazi Azmat Isa, and PPAF Board of Directors members Zubyr Soomro, Dr Nuzhat Ahmad, Dr Rajab Ali Memon and Asif Qadir were also present on the occasion.

BAGHDAD
Iraq's highest court ordered parliament to resume its work on Sunday, nearly eight months after inconclusive elections left the country without a new government.
Federal Supreme Court spokesman Abdul Sattar Bayrakdar said parliament was ordered to convene and choose a new speaker, the first step to forming a coalition in Iraq, which has been without a government since the March 7 polls.
"In a decision taken today, the supreme court ordered parliament to return
