GREENSBORO - Alissa Czisny, who pondered retirement after a poor 2010 season, won her second women's crown in three seasons by taking Saturday's free skate at the US Figure Skating Championships. LAHORE - Kinnaird, Garrison and Ravi clubs won their matches of the 5th Regional Inter-district Seniors Women's Cricket Tournament here on Thursday. Kinnaird Club overwhelmed Garrison College by 149 runs at the Government College University ground. Kinnaird made 228 runs.

Mahlaqa, Asma shine in Inter-District Women’s Cricket
LAHORE - Mahlaqa Mansoor, Asma and Nimra Imran gave sparking performance on day two of the 5th Regional Inter-District Women Cricket Championship (seniors) here on Wednesday. In the first match, Mahlaqa Mansoor went all out in her maiden unbeaten 133 in the record total of 413 runs scored by Garrison College in 38 overs for the loss of five wickets. Her team beat Central College Gulberg by 369 runs.

PCB releases Nepal women’s series itinerary
LAHORE - The PCB Women Wing has confirmed the Nepalese cricket team tour dates here on Tuesday for the four-match series as part of the national team's preparation for the World Cup qualifying round.
The Nepal women cricket team will be touring Pakistan to play a friendly series comprising four T20 matches against the Pakistan women team. The Nepal team will arrive in Lahore on Feb 9 with the first T20 set to be played on Feb 11.

LAHORE - The 5th Regional Inter-District Women Cricket Championship (Seniors) will be played from January 24 to 31 at different venues of the city. In all 12 teams are taking part in the championship which are divided into two groups.

Women’s cricket rolls into action tomorrow
LAHORE - The 5th Regional Inter-district Senior Women's Cricket Tournament 2010-11 will roll into action from Monday here at different venues of the city. Bushra Aitzaz, chairperson PCB women's wing, will inaugurate the championship at 12.30 pm at the Kinnaird College ground.
Twelve teams of the city are participating in the tournament. The final will be played on January 31.
