PCB names women’s team for SL series
LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board Women Wing has announced the women team for upcoming quadrangular series featuring Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Ireland and Holland.
The tournament will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from April 18 to May 1.
The PCB has called the camp training of the selected players from April 6-17 at National Cricket Academy, Lahore, for the preparation of the series.

LAHORE - The fourth edition of National Women Football Club Championship will commence from April 15 at four zones, Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar. The top two teams of each zone will move to main event slated to run at Islamabad's Jinnah Stadium from September 17-30. The field for qualification is expanded to eight from four.
The four qualifiers last year were Frontier College of Peshawar, Karachi's Diya FC, Lahore's Sport Sciences and Rawalpindi's Young Rising Star.

LAHORE - Pakistan Football Federation President Faisal Saleh Hayat has approved 24 teams for fourth National Women's Football Club Championship 2011, to be held from April 6 to 13 simultaneously at four zones Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar.
The top two teams from each zone will qualify for the 7th National Women's Championship, slated to run at Islamabad's Jinnah Stadium from September 17 to 30.

LAHORE - An awareness walk was organised in collaboration with Allama Iqbal Medical College (AIMC), the Women's Chamber of Commerce and the World Heart Federation on Friday to increase awareness about heart diseases among women.
