Woman clubbed to death over suspicion

FAISALABAD - A man killed his brother's wife over suspicion of having affair with another man. Reportedly, Allah Bakhsh, a resident of Sandheelianwali, bludgeoned his brother's wife Farhat to death. The deceased left her husband's house last week over a domestic row with in-laws and went to her parents' house.
When she returned to her husband's house, accused Allah Bakhsh attacked her with a heavy stick and killed her over the suspicion that she had affair with some other person.

ISLAMABAD: A Chinese national woman doctor, Dr Jiya, 48, was mysteriously found dead at her residence-cum-clinic here on Friday in a posh sector of the federal capital.
The police said she had been running a clinic at Rose Plaza at I-8 Markaz for several years.
"Dr Jiya, after embracing Islam, was married to a Pakistani national, Danish Hussain," said Industrial Area SP Ishaq Warraich. He said her hands had been tied and her mouth gagged with a piece of cloth, the SP added.
