LAHORE - Lahore Whites and Sayid Paper Mills moved into the regional semi-finals of the 13th National Seniors Cricket Cup after winning their matches at different venues in Lahore. Lahore Whites defeated Multan Tigers by 55 runs. Lahore scored 179-7 in 24 overs against Multan at Khayaban-e-Amin Ground and bowled the opposition out for 124.

LAHORE - The Pakistan Whites hockey team was on Tuesday awarded a cash prize for winning gold in the 11th South Asian Games. Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif announced an award amounting to Rs. 1.6 million for the players and officials belonging to Punjab.
