India benefitting from Indus Water Treaty flaws
ISLAMABAD - The Senate Standing Committee on Water and Power was informed Monday that India was taking advantage of the flaws in the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) to build dams on the rivers allotted to Pakistan under the deal. Water level in Attabad Lake starts to fall
HUNZA - Water level in Attabad Lake, at Gojal valley, has started receding at about 7 inches per hour after Frontier Works Organization (FWO)'s detonation of the blocked spillway of Hunza river. Water has gone down by around 3.5 feet since opening of the spillway on Sunday.
