SIALKOT - As many as 522,025 children below five years would be administered anti-polio vaccine during a three-day national anti-polio campaign to be started in Sialkot district from March 7. Hospitals get hepatitis vaccine

Interferon injections and medicines for hepatitis C treatment were provided to government hospitals last week according to their treatment load, Punjab Health Secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad said on Thursday.
He said that since treatment of hepatitis C was very expensive and time-consuming, hospital administrations have been directed to ensure completion of a six-month treatment course of patients who were already under treatment.
