KOHAT - The security forces killed at least two most wanted terrorists in a clash at Kamal Khel, a suburb of Kohat, on Friday. HAFIZABAD - At least two people died from suffocation in village Kot Kushhal Khan near Hafizabad. Reportedly, Shabbir Hussain and Zahid Iqbal were sleeping in a room when a gas cylinder leaked as a result of which both of them were suffocated to death.

Suspected Qaeda gunmen kill two Yemen soldiers
ADEN - Gunmen killed two soldiers in the southern Yemen town of Zinjibar on Monday in separate shootings which a local official blamed on Al Qaeda.
The attacks came in different neighbourhoods of Zinjibar, the capital of restive Abyan province, the official said on condition of anonymity. "They bear the hallmark of Al Qaeda, which often attacks soldiers," he added.

LAHORE - Two young men were killed by wayward aerial fire in the precincts of Sanda police station late night Sunday, police told Pakistan Today.
The deceased, 20-year-old Riyasat and 22-year-old Rangu son of Noor Muhammad, were residents of Fazal Colony, Band Road.
They were both shot by wayward bullets in aerial firing at their neighbour Nadeem Bhatti's wedding, said police. The bullets were allegedly fired by the groom's brothers, Javaid and Vilayat, police added. Riyasat

ISLAMABAD - The US embassy in Islamabad has in the recent past settled two cases under the Qisas and Diyat laws by paying compensation to the families after embassy drivers killed two citizens in Islamabad in two separate road accidents. QUETTA - Two people were shot dead in separate incidents in Kuchlak and Panjgur town on Saturday while the security forces recovered a huge cache of arms from Dukki area, police said.
Unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire on Jamal-ud-Din in Kuchlak town, in the outskirts of Quetta. As a result, he received critical wounds and succumbed to his injuries. The assailants fled the scene. Police said the motive behind the killing was yet to be ascertained.

A hairdresser was shot dead in Gulshan Ghazi, Baldia Town within the limits of Mochko police station.
Mochko police station duty officer said that Mukhtiar, son of Karim Khan, was killed by an unidentified armed man, who entered his hairdressing shop in the Gulshan Ghazi area and fired multiple shots on him. The motive behind his murder was personnel enmity, he added.

KARACHI - The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has reshuffled its entire management with the chairman and two directors being forced to resign on February 24. PTCL told its shareholders in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad stock exchanges on Friday that PTCL Chairman Najeebullah Malik and directors Salman Siddiqui and Khursheed Ahmed Junejo had resigned, adding that Walid Irshad would continue to serve as chief executive officer for the next term.
