JUBA – About 34,000 southern Sudanese have fled their homes after tribal clashes over land, water and cattle in recent weeks, a UN humanitarian official said, adding to southern troubles before independence in July.

OESHAWAR – Youngsters from the volatile Waziristan and FATA region on Wednesday staged a protest rally to press the authorities to establish a separate university for tribal students and seeking end to drone attacks in Waziristan.
