11 mega projects okayed to ensure smooth traffic in Peshawar
PESHAWAR - Keeping in view the frequent blockade of roads and increasing flow of vehicles, a high level meeting, held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti on Wednesday, approved at least 11 mega projects.

Traffic Police forms squads to curb wheelies
LAHORE - The City Traffic Police have constituted five special squads on Emergency Police 15's pattern to curb wheelies across the city. Capital City Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) SSP Syed Ahmed Mobin directed the divisional superintendents to supervise these squads and ensure implementation of

Lahore - The City Traffic Police on Friday launched its official website to facilitate citizens, who can now access the website (www.ctplahore.gop.pk). Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Syed Ahmad Mobin said that the citizens could get information about traffic rules and regulation, traffic sectors, details of the banks where fines could be paid and other details on the website.

Lahore - The City Traffic Police (CTP) has announced a massive crackdown from 1st March onwards against drivers without traffic licenses. The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) SSP Syed Ahmed Mobin has commanded DSPs, circle in-charges and senior traffic wardens to launch a crackdown against the violators without any discrimination. DSP Licensing Ali Iftikhar Jaffery said CTP has standardized licensing method according to international standards.

FAISALABAD - The city government, as a part of its plan to expand roads, has approved a landmark project to relieve the massive traffic jams at Abdullahpur Chowk and the surrounding areas.
