25th Lahore Book Fair opens today
LAHORE - The 25th Lahore International Book Fair 2011 will kick off today at Lahore Expo Center, Johar Town. Books from a wide range of categories will be presented for sale at the book fair which will continue till April 11. Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif will open the book fair that will have hundreds of stalls from India, England, America and Pakistan.

KARACHI - Despite the government managing little business of note during the last Sindh Assembly session, the provincial legislature returns in session from today after Governor Ishratul Ebad issued a notification to convene the Assembly. The new session comes sooner than expected, as parliamentary year requirements have already been met and the days of business will be counted in the current year. MQM to organise mushaira at Anu Bhai Park today
KARACHI - The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is organising a mushaira today (Monday) at Anu Bhai Park in Nazimabad in connection with its 27th foundation day.
