Three terror suspects arrested in Shahdara
LAHORE - Three suspects were arrested in Shahdara for plotting terrorist activities in the provincial metropolis, official sources told Pakistan Today. One of the suspects was identified as Abubakar, a resident of Lahore, while the others were identified as Sher Dil and Saad Khan, residents of North Waziristan.

Three SHC contractual employees get the boot
KARACHI - The SHC on Wednesday dismissed three of its contractual employees from service, in pursuance of the Supreme Court orders regarding contractual staff. The removed officers included SHC Additional Registrar Muhammad Safdar, and readers Muhammad Hashim and Shafiq, and had already been served a one-month notice. The fate of three other contract employees would be decided by the SHC administration committee comprising senior judges.

MAZAR-I-SHARIF/KHOST - A suicide bomber detonated explosives strapped to his body at a sports field in northern Afghanistan Saturday killing three and wounding 38, a provincial governor said.
Abdulhaq Shafaq, the Faryab governor, said the attack took place in Shirin Tagab district during a buzkashi game, a traditional sport involving grabbing a dead goat or calf from the ground while riding a horse at full gallop.

KARACHI - Three teenage boys were killed when a passenger bus hit their motorcycle near Akbar Road in Saddar on Sunday afternoon.
