MINGORA/WANA: At least seven militants were killed and a soldier of the security forces was injured in clashes in scattered areas of Swat's Matta tehsil on Sunday.
The clashes between the security forces and militants started late on Saturday and continued until Sunday noon in Shughdara, Arkot and Rorengar villages. The militants killed in the clashes were identified as Ghafoor Khan, Naseebullah, Muhammad Ali, Ibrahim, Inayatullah, Jamal and Azeem.
