Flour mills begin 3-day strike in Sindh
KARACHI - Flour mills across Sindh have gone on a three-day strike against ongoing ban on inter-district movement of wheat in province.
Sindh Floor Mills Association (SFMA) argued that the ban has increased the price of flour by Rs.100 per bag.
On the other hand, the Food Department said that there was no wheat crisis in the province.
The ban, it said, has been imposed to curb smuggling of wheat.

CNG dealers call off strike after failure
LAHORE - After failing to put any credible pressure on the government, the All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) on Thursday decided to withdraw its call for an indefinite strike across Punjab. APCNGA Supreme Council Chairman Ghiyas Paracha said that the strike had been called off in Lahore, Gujranwala and Multan.
However, CNG stations in Attock, Jehlum, Sargodha, Jhang, Bhawalpur Region, Rahim Yar Khan and Sadiqabad would continue the closure. Sources within the association said

LAHORE - Most CNG stations across Punjab remained shut for the second consecutive day as a result of the strike announced by the CNG Association and the Petroleum Retailers Association.
