CNG stations’ strike continues for second day in Punjab
LAHORE - Most CNG stations across Punjab remained shut for the second consecutive day as a result of the strike announced by the CNG Association and the Petroleum Retailers Association.
President of the association Ghayas Paracha, announced the strike on Tuesday and said that a shortage in Gas supply is highly unlikely during this season and despite the orders of the president and prime minister, the Sui Northern Gas was still persistent with gas load shedding.

LAHORE - Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) Director General Muhammad Khalid announced in a press conference on Tuesday that the major grid stations of the country had been repaired to overcome tripping in summers.
Khalid said the National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) repaired and renovated transmission lines and the major grid stations of the city including the 220-kilovolt (KV) transformers of Kot Lakhpat, Ravi Road, Ghazi Road and Wapda Town.

Lahore - Sui Northern Gas Pipe Lines' (SNGPL) claims of accommodating domestic users proved wrong, as half of the city experienced gas load-shedding on Wednesday.
Despite weather changes and a gas demand reduction by the domestic users, SNGPL failed to supply gas to homes. Johar Town, Wapda Town, Township, Wahdat Road, Rehmanpura, Muslim Town, Shadman, Gulberg and other vicinities remained deprived of gas for hours while many other areas experienced extremely low gas pressure.
