Sports activities on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal

LAHORE - The central organizing committee of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebration will be holding seven days of sporting activities. The events will start on February 16 here at the Railway Stadium. Railways name new sports officer

LAHORE - Atta Hussain Butt was appointed the sports officer of Pakistan Railways Sports Board here on Monday. The Railways general manager took the decision in wake of the recent poor showing of the departments' athletes in the 31st National Games held at Peshawar.
Atta will replace Rashid Mahmood Butt, whose posting has been put on hold for further orders. Atta was working in the accounts department of Railways and has been organising one of the martial arts teams of Railways.
