Railways to buy 50 used locomotives from South Korea

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Railways (PR) is considering a proposal to purchase used 3000HP locomotives manufactured by General Motors from South Korea, aimed at meeting the shortfall of engines in the PR's network.

MIRANSHAH - The body of Col Imam, whose murder was claimed by the Tehreek-e- Taliban Pakistan recently, was found along a roadside in South Waziristan on Sunday. Col Imam was abducted in March last year along with British journalist Asad Qureshi and former intelligence official Khalid Khawaja.
