PAC restricts Sindh universities from borrowing overdrafts

KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Tuesday restricted all public universities of the province from borrowing overdrafts from banks for meetings their financial needs.

Sindh Bank to set up 50 branches in 2011

KARACHI: The newly established Sindh Bank will establish 50 branches across the country, said CEO Bilal Shaikh on Saturday. He revealed that 70 percent of the branches will be set up in Sindh and the rest in commercial hubs of other provinces. 114 Sindh judges have no official transport

KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) Registrar Abdul Rasool Memon submitted a report before a division bench of the SHC on Tuesday that revealed that 114 judges of the province have no vehicle for their official use.
According to the report 18 district and sessions judges of grade 21 and 91 additional session judges, senior civil judges and civil judges from grade 18 to 20 don't have a vehicle for official use.
