Robber killed in shootout with Gujranwala police
GUJRANWALA - A notorious criminal was shot dead in an encounter with police near Sheranwala Park at GT Road while his three accomplices managed to escape. Reportedly, Ladhewala Warraich police conducted a raid in the residential area in the Sheranwala Park locality to arrest a robber, Sarfraz of village Varpal Chattha.
Sarfraz started firing to avoid his arrest. The police also opened fire killing him instantly.

LAHORE - Two alleged robbers were shot dead in a shootout with the police in Harbanspura Police precincts late on Wednesday. The police claimed that one robber died as a result of firing from his accomplice while the other was shot dead by the police. The police arrested one robber while three others fled.

7 injured in shootout between two groups
ISLAMABAD - Seven people sustained bullet injuries on Saturday in a shootout between two groups in village Karlot in the Bhara Kau Police Station precincts, on the outskirts of the federal capital.
Members of two groups led by Sher Asif and Raja Nasir opened fire on each other, injuring seven people. The dispute arose out of a refusal to a marriage proposal. The injured were taken to PIMS and Federal Government Services Hospital.
