LAHORE - The second Chief Minister Sports Competitions (intermediate, inter-district level) continued for the third day running here in the province. In Faisalabad, girls volleyball, badminton and athletics competitions were held at divisional public school and cricket final was played at Boharanwali Ground, Faisalabad. In girls volleyball, Faisalabad beat Toba Tek Singh to win the title.

LAHORE - Pool matches were played on the opening day of the All Pakistan Inter-Department Rugby championship 2011 at the Karsas Naval Base in Karachi on Saturday.
The tournament is being organized with the collaboration of Pakistan Rugby Union, Navy and Sindh Rugby Association. The rugby championship is featuring five departments Army, Police, Wapda, Railways and Navy.

Mahlaqa, Asma shine in Inter-District Women’s Cricket
LAHORE - Mahlaqa Mansoor, Asma and Nimra Imran gave sparking performance on day two of the 5th Regional Inter-District Women Cricket Championship (seniors) here on Wednesday. In the first match, Mahlaqa Mansoor went all out in her maiden unbeaten 133 in the record total of 413 runs scored by Garrison College in 38 overs for the loss of five wickets. Her team beat Central College Gulberg by 369 runs.
