The Muslim Town Police conducted a late night search operation in the Shah Di Khoi area last week following information that militants were hiding there. All shrines sealed after the 'twin' suicide attacks at the city's patron saint Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA)'s shrine were reopened after Sindh Home Department gave the green light.
"There are mosques in vicinity of most shrines. Those who want to offer prayers there were facing difficulties and that is why we have ordered to open them (shrines)," Sindh Auqaf Chief Administrator Manzoor Kanasro told Pakistan Today.
