LAHORE - Left-arm spinner Zia Uddin became the first hat-trick maker in the 13th National Seniors Cricket Cup as his brilliant bowling enabled Sayid Paper Mills to force their way into the regional semi-finals. LAHORE - Lahore Whites and Sayid Paper Mills moved into the regional semi-finals of the 13th National Seniors Cricket Cup after winning their matches at different venues in Lahore. Lahore Whites defeated Multan Tigers by 55 runs. Lahore scored 179-7 in 24 overs against Multan at Khayaban-e-Amin Ground and bowled the opposition out for 124.

LAHORE - Versatile advanced the semi-final of the fourth SPM League Cricket Tournament here on Saturday. In Professional Group Versatile beat BBL by 61 runs. Versatile scored 249 runs on the fall of six wickets. Raza Ali Dar 108, Haris Nazir 72 and Nouman Afzal 34. Asif Ashfaq took three wickets.

LAHORE - Government College University and University of Central Punjab won their matches of the Pakistan Inter-varsity Hockey Championship and qualified for the semi-finals.
The event is being played at the Punjab University New Campus ground. GCU beat University of Engineering and Technology 4-1 while University of Central Punjab defeated Bahria University 6-0.
