Saeed Elahi praises Punjab chief minister

LAHORE - Punjab Parliamentary Secretary for Health Dr Saeed Elahi has said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is a great admirer of the services of young doctors and all out measures are being taken for the solution of their problems. During the last 16 years, first time the present government regularized the services of more than four thousand medical officers and two thousand consultants, he said.

Farooq Saeed assures five-day gas supply for textile industry

LAHORE - Minister for Textile Industry Rana Muhammad Farooq Saeed Khan has assured five-day gas supply to the textile industry in Punjab.
He was talking to media at the office of All Pakistan Textile Mills association (APTMA) following a meeting with APTMA office-bearers. The minister said that the textile sector of Pakistan is competent and has the potential to touch the export target of $25 billion. He stated that the cotton production could have been reasonably good but recent
