LAHORE – Shaheen Wahdat of Colony Ground earned a 3-1 win over PAF FC and entered the pre-quarterfinals of the All Punjab Raiders Football Cup 2011 at Raiders Football Club Ground. Shaheen took the lead in the 15th minute through striker Ahmed Shah, but a minute later midfielder Qasim drew level for PAF. It was 1-1 at interval. LAHORE – Cantonment Gymkhana and Ghaziabad Sports moved into the second round of the East Zone Cricket Championship, being played at various grounds of the city.
In the first match at Race Course ground, Cantonment Gymkhana beat Mughalpura Greeners by 10 wickets. An all round performance by Faisal Rizwan brought Cantonment victory.

LAHORE – The Punjab police are dragging their feet into investigations into 33 bomb blasts and suicide attacks that occurred in various cities over the last two years while 12 such incidents have been left untraced.
