LAHORE - The Jamaat-e-Ahle Sunnat Pakistan (JAP) will hold countrywide protests on Friday, March 25, to protest against the desecration of the Holy Quran in Florida, US. Mufti Munib joins Modarba religious board

ISLAMABAD - The federal government has appointed the renowned religious scholar Professor Mufti Munib ur Rehman as a member of the Religious Board for Modarabas (Islamic financial institutions) with immediate effect. His appointment has been made in pursuance of Section 9 of the 1980 Modaraba Companies and Modaraba (Floatation and Control) Ordinance. Protesters march against religious intolerance

LAHORE - Several civil society activists including Salmaan Taseer's son and daughter gathered outside Lahore Press Club on Thursday to protest against Bhatti's assassination. The protest was held by different groups at separate spots but they later converged into one and walked till The Mall.
