Relief goods worth billions rotting away in PIA warehouses
KARACHI: Goods worth Rs 3.5 billion, sent to Pakistan by friendly countries for the assistance of the millions of displaced flood survivors, are rotting away in the import section warehouses of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Pakistan Today has learnt.

Iran provides goods for flood relief

Provincial Minister for Food and Industries Chaudhary Abdul Ghafoor received 10 containers comprising 200 tons of food, cloths, blankets, food cartons, tents and mineral water bottles through Iranian Consul General Nikan Qami. The Iranian Council General personally handed over the keys of containers to Provincial Minister.
