LAHORE - The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) remained bullish with significant improvement in the volume. The LSE 25-shares added 23.65 points to close at 3,843.47 against its opening at 3,819.82 levels. Out of 112 active scrips, 29 went up, 30 went down and 53 closed without any change in their opening values.

Duminy leads SA recovery
PORT ELIZABETH - Part-time spinner Yuvraj Singh took three wickets and sparked a top order batting collapse before JP Duminy led a recovery by South Africa in the fourth ODI against India at St George's Park on Friday.

PESHAWAR - Lawyers boycotted courts on the call of Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa Bar Council and Peshawar High Court Bar Association to protest the abduction of Zain Khan Khalil advocate and demanded his safe recovery.

Cement, banking and fertiliser sectors remained the eye catchers. The LSE 25-shares index added 33.32 points to close at 3,234.19 against its opening at 3,200.87 levels. Volume of the market remarkably increased by 1.71 million shares, and stayed at four million shares.
Out of 116 active scrips, 48 increased, 15 declined and 53 showed stagnancy.
