Formation of new provinces out of question: Rana Sanaullah
LAHORE - Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has made it clear that his party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will oppose formation of new provinces. In an exclusive chat with a private TV channel, the provincial law minister said that Punjab cannot be divided and if formation of new provinces is mandatory then Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should be divided. Answering a question, he said, there is no space of technocratic government in the constitution and law.

LAHORE - Sussex CCC have signed Pakistani quick bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan as their overseas player for the first half of the 2011 season, welcoming him back to Hove for a third spell at the club. The 32-year-old Rana played for Sussex between 2005 and 2007 before returning in the early part of 2010, scoring a century against Leicestershire in the LV County Championship.

LAHORE - Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Ijazul Hassan concluded the hearing in a fake degree case against National Assembly member Rana Zahid Hussain and will announce his verdict on January 28, 2011.

Rana Naved denies scuffle with Yousuf
LAHORE: Pakistan fast bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan has denied having any altercation with domestic team mate Mohammad Yousuf, which allegedly led to the veteran batsman walking out on WAPDA and joining Lahore Shalimar.
