LAHORE - The All Deaf Group demanded a one percent quota from the two percent quota for the disabled in the government jobs. SA demands implementation of quota system

KARACHI - The Sindh Assembly on Monday passed a resolution unanimously demanding of the Sindh government to ensure implementation of the 60-40 percent ratio of quota in government jobs and promotions of employees in government departments as well as autonomous bodies.

KARACHI - The Sindh Democratic Forum (SDF) - Sindh-based political think tank comprising intellectuals, educationists, thinkers, economists, writers, professionals and concerned citizens - has expressed grave concern over the recent announcement by the Sindh government to allocate 50 percent of its job quota to the MQM.
The SDF would start a series of protests throughout the province if the PPP does not immediately reverse its decision, said a statement issued on Sunday.
