QUETTA - Unidentified gunmen on Monday kidnapped a professor of Bolan Medical College, Quetta, police said.
According to the police, Mumtaz Naqvi, professor of BMC, was way to college when on Sabzal Road unidentified men intercepted his vehicle and whished him away to unknown location.
Police have registered a case and started further probe.

QUETTA - A policeman was among four people killed and seventeen injured in a rocket attack in Quetta on Wednesday. Three rockets were fired from the western side of the provincial capital, all of which landed in a populated area.
One of the rockets, believed to have been fired by Baloch militants landed at Sariab Patak, close to the personal residence of Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani. The first attack killed four people, including Traffic Sergeant Safdar Hussain.

QUETTA - Two children were injured in a toy bomb explosion in Quetta's suburbs on Monday. According to police, Attaur Rehman was playing with his sister Bilqees, 6, near his house located at Kirani Road when they found a hard object and started playing with it. Two settlers gunned down in Quetta
QUETTA - Gun violence on late Wednesday night left two people killed and one man wounded in an incident of targeted killing, police said. The shooting took place when armed men riding a motorbike attacked on a photostat shop in Shahbaz Town area. Both the dead men, identified as Mohammad Iftikhar and Najamul Saqib, were brothers.

QUETTA - The Balochistan Levies on Thursday found four bodies of missing persons in Kechh district's border town of Mund, some 500 kilometres west of Quetta.

QUETTA - Another four bullet riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons were found in Quetta and Mastung districts on Sunday.
Police said two bodies were found near Killi Qambrani in the jurisdiction of Shalkot police station. The bodies were moved to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital where they were identified as Zubair Sarpara and Tariq.
