LAHORE: The Punjab government informed the Lahore High Court on Tuesday that the federal government was responsible for the sugar crisis as it did not import sugar when its shortage started in 2009.

Federal Implementation Commission to meet Punjab officials
LAHORE: The Federal Implementation Commission members would meet Punjab government departments officials on Monday to sort out different "contentious" issues related to dissolution of federal ministries, Pakistan Today has learnt.

ISLAMABAD: To limit the hydel power shortage to 1500MW from the estimated 3500MW, Punjab and Sindh on Tuesday agreed to increase water releases during the forthcoming canal closure period - December-January.
