LAHORE - HBL and Army Saturday secured easy wins, PIA struggled hard for victory, while NBP and WAPDA played a thrilling draw in the 58th National Hockey Championship, being played at the Faisalabad Hockey Stadium. Four matches were played on Saturday, in which Army beat Navy 2-0, HBL defeated PTV 3-0, PIA beat Steel Mill 3-2 while the NBP-WAPDA tie ended in a 4-all draw.

LAHORE - Lahore Eagles defeated PTV by seven wickets improving their chances of reaching the semi-final of the One-Day National Cup (Division -II here at the LCCA Ground, on Tuesday.

Two were injured as Sui gas leakage resulted in fire eruption at Shaheen complex's cafe in front of the Pakistan Television (PTV) station at Abbot Road on Wednesday.
