GUJRANWALA: Hundreds of housewives expressed their anger against the shortage of gas by laying siege to the regional office of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited for hours, breaking window glasses and damaging furniture.

LAHORE: Dozens of nurses from Saeeda Waheed Nursing College protested on Monday in front of PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif's Jati Umra residence against the non payment of their monthly stipend. Scores of nurses came out on the Raiwind Road protesting against the suspension of their stipend for over four months and raised slogans against the administration and blocked the road for two hours.

LAHORE: Protests organised by students of various colleges on Saturday created a massive traffic jam on roads adjacent to the New Muslim Town Morr.
Punjab College students were protesting against police torture of students and teachers at the Punjab Assembly a couple of days ago. Commuters expressed anger over the traffic jam and criticised students for protesting on roads. The protesters blocked the roads using buses, choking traffic on the Canal Bank roads irking motorists.

30 shops robbed in Karachi mobile market, traders protest
KARACHI: Thirty shops at the Kohinoor Mobile Market in Saddar - commonly known as 'Electronics Market'- were robbed of cash and goods worth Rs 10 million in the wee hours of Friday. When the shopkeepers arrived at the market in the morning, they saw that the shutters' locks were broken and their cash and goods gone.
