LAHORE - National champions WAPDA struck in both the sessions to beat Nepal Police Club 2-0 in the Group C tie of the seventh AFC President's Cup at Dasarath Rangasala Stadium on Wednesday. The goals were struck by Arif Mehmood and Jadeed Khan.

Police restricted from booking or arresting PML-Q leader

KARACHI - The Sindh High Court restricted the Home Department and police on Tuesday from registering a case against PML-Q leader Malak Changaiz and his five relatives or arresting them without taking permission from the apex court till May 11 and directed the Hyderabad RPO to appear before the court on the next date of the case's hearing. A single bench comprising Justice Aqeel Ammed Abbasi extended the previous court order that is set to expire on April 20.
