Police restricted from booking or arresting PML-Q leader
KARACHI - The Sindh High Court restricted the Home Department and police on Tuesday from registering a case against PML-Q leader Malak Changaiz and his five relatives or arresting them without taking permission from the apex court till May 11 and directed the Hyderabad RPO to appear before the court on the next date of the case's hearing. A single bench comprising Justice Aqeel Ammed Abbasi extended the previous court order that is set to expire on April 20.

KARACHI - The Karachi police have reportedly identified the men involved in the killing of Akhter Hussain, the vice chairman of Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) Afaq Group, and his two aides, it was learnt on Saturday.
Hussain and his two aides were killed on Shaheed-e-Millat Road near Bahadurabad on April 12. A female passerby was also killed and a child injured when the assailants fired at the MQM-H men's car.

LAHORE - Police on Saturday arrested a gang which used to loot citizens by pretending to be agents of a secret agency. According to police, the four criminals belong to Karachi. A few days ago, Irfan, Ahmed, Waleed and Hashim arrived in Lahore and used to follow people from the airport and loot them at deserted areas.
